I awoke this morning singing the Exodus hymn.... "I am freeee!!!"
Triduum, for all the endless work, pain-in-the-ass coworkers, and last minute detail insanity, was officially worth it.
Plus, it sounded better than the Easter Vigil service that my sister went to, where the priests bickered over who was supposed to give the homily during the service. ("Now Fr. Bob will give the Homily." "No I won't! You are!" "No I'm not!")
To celebrate finally being done, I had 20 of my closest friends over for Easter dinner.
I'm feeling refreshed and renewed, so let the Easter season begin!
And just in case you're lagging, here's a photo of our chickens to get you in the "new life" mood:
(from left to right: Buffy, Tsipy (pronounced "Zippy") and Emmy)

TOO CUTE.

Happy Easter to you too!
Love imagining the bickering presiders scene.
